The Short Version
BlockRipple has no accounts, asks for no personal details, and works offline for most of its content. The app keeps your puzzle progress, reads basic hardware information so the board renders correctly, and reports crashes so they can be fixed. Anything else described below is optional, limited, or handled by the app store rather than by us. The full clauses follow.
A. Who This Applies To
This policy covers every player of BlockRipple on every platform where the game is officially distributed. It does not cover other applications, websites reached through an advertisement shown inside the game, or modified copies of BlockRipple obtained outside an authorised store.
B. Categories of Information
Four categories exist, and no others:
- Progress data — cleared stages, scores, combo records, remaining lives, item counts, and option switches.
- Device data — hardware model, operating system version, app build, screen dimensions, system language, region setting, and network type.
- Diagnostic data — crash traces, freeze reports, frame-rate samples, and load times.
- Contact data — only what a player types or attaches when writing to support.
C. What Falls Outside Every Category
To be explicit, BlockRipple does not collect any of the following, in any circumstance:
- real name, date of birth, or government identification
- precise or approximate GPS location
- contacts, calendar entries, photos, files, camera, or microphone input
- SMS or call records
- health, fitness, biometric, or financial account information
- browsing history outside the app
Where the game has no need of something, it does not request the permission that would allow it.
D. Where Progress Data Lives
On the device, in the private storage area reserved for the app. If a cloud save option is switched on, a copy is also placed with the platform save service. Deleting the app clears the local copy; the platform copy follows the platform's own rules, which the platform explains in its settings.
E. Reasons for Processing
Progress data exists so a session can resume. Device data exists so the game can render and perform correctly on unfamiliar hardware. Diagnostic data exists so defects can be located. Contact data exists so a question can be answered. Aggregate figures drawn from progress and diagnostic data are used to judge whether a stage is unfairly difficult and to plan updates.
F. Anti-Cheat Measures
BlockRipple checks for signs that the game has been altered, that a score is impossible to achieve through normal play, or that a purchase receipt has been forged. Detection may result in a score being discarded or an installation being blocked from leaderboards. These checks operate on progress and device data already described and introduce no new category.
G. Advertising
Where the free version of BlockRipple shows advertisements, an advertising network supplies them. That network may read the advertising identifier assigned by your operating system in order to select an advertisement and count impressions. You control that identifier in system settings, where it may be reset or limited, and BlockRipple follows whatever choice is recorded there. Any purchase that removes advertisements also stops this exchange.
H. Service Providers
Providers handle analytics, crash reporting, advertisement delivery, and store distribution. Each receives only the fields required for its function and is bound to use them for that function alone. None is permitted to sell what it receives. We do not sell, rent, or barter player information ourselves.
I. Payments
Optional purchases inside BlockRipple are completed by Apple, Google, or the equivalent store operator. Payment details go to that operator directly. We are given a purchase confirmation and a receipt reference so the purchased item can be granted and a refund enquiry can later be checked. We never see or store a card number.
J. Security and Retention
Encrypted transport protects information moving to our systems; access controls protect it once stored. Progress data is kept while the app is installed. Diagnostic data is discarded once its defect is closed. Aggregate statistics are kept in a form that cannot be traced to one installation. Purchase records follow statutory accounting periods. Support messages are cleared once the matter closes. No system exposed to a network is entirely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
K. Children Under Thirteen
BlockRipple is intended for a general audience, is not directed at children under thirteen, and does not knowingly gather personal information from them. If a parent or guardian believes a child has provided such information, official support will locate and remove it on request.
L. Player Requests
Subject to local law, you may ask what is held, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, or object to a specific use. Send the request to official support with the installation identifier shown in the options screen, since it is the only key available for matching a request to a record. Information retained under a legal obligation, or needed to prevent fraud, remains with us after other material is removed.
M. Changes and Contact
This policy is updated when the game, a provider, or the law changes, and the version published on our official channels is the version in force. Questions may be sent to the BlockRipple support team through the official support channels.
